Transfer Credits
Our program is designed to maximize student success on the N-Clex State Board Examination. Each course in the program is intended to work together to prepare our students to become safe practicing nurses under the direct supervision of the RN, and to achieve success on the N-Clex State Board Examination.
We only accept the following courses from other accredited institutions of higher learning.
All Applicants
- BIO 140- Anatomy/Physiology and Lab I
- BIO 142- Anatomy/Physiology and Lab II
- BIO 150- Microbiology and labs
- ENG 101- English Composition
- MATH 101- Math for (Allied) Health Science
- PSY 101- Psychology
- PSY 201- Developmental Psychology(RN ONLY)
These courses will be accepted for transfer credit only if the following conditions are met:
- The course must have been taken at an accredited college/university.
- Science courses must have been taken within the last three years.
- Liberal arts courses must have been taken within the last five years.
- The final letter grade obtained for the course must be B or better for Sciences and B- or better for General education courses
Official transcripts for any courses to be considered for transfer credit must be submitted to and evaluated by the Registrar’s Office prior to the individual student’s program start date.
Student granted transfer credit for any given course will receive an exemption for the course when it is in session.
