Sexual Misconduct Training for Students

New York state laws mandate that all individuals in the campus community are provided with affirmative steps to avoid unlawful harassment and discrimination. In an effort to maintain a safe and aware campus community, AMG School of Nursing is working with an online training company, to provide our students with a mandatory course called Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates. This course will prepare you to identify and help eliminate harassment and discrimination in our campuses. It will raise your awareness in recognizing abusive behavior and different types of misconduct. It will also provide practical ways that you can use to help us maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment, including positive options for bystander intervention.
During your first semester, you will receive an email that introduces the program and indicates how to complete this mandatory course. Please note, that if you do not complete this course during the first semester, you will be placed on hold which may affect your ability to enroll for future classes.
