Prerequisite Courses
Before applying for an RN bridge program, you must have completed specific prerequisite courses. These courses include:

RN Role Transition Seminar
To help you transition from an LPN role to an RN role, AMG College of Nursing provides a mandatory seminar. This seminar will help prepare you for the transition by providing you with valuable resources and information that you will need to help ensure the process goes smoothly.

Standardized Entrance Exams
To be admitted into an RN bridge program, you will need to pass standardized entrance exams that assess your competency and knowledge in reading, math, pharmacology, and nursing fundamentals. These exams help to ensure that you have the necessary foundation to succeed in our program.

Credit Transfer
Upon admission into the RN bridge program, students will be awarded up to 34 credits for core courses. The breakdown of the credit content includes 18 credits for liberal sciences, seven credits for nursing fundamentals, and nine credits for liberal arts. This allows LPNs to transfer directly into the second year of the RN program, saving both time and money.
