ADMISSIONS FACT SHEET
- Transfer credits for non-science courses must carry a grade of B- or better and must not be more than five years.
- Transfer credits for science courses such as A+P 1+2 Microbiology must carry a grade of B or better and have been completed within the past 3 years.
- All transcripts must have a minimum GPA of 3.00 for the RN program and a minimum GPA of 2.50 GPA for the LPN program.
- High School students without college credits must provide a HS transcript with a minimum score of 80 overall grade for the RN and 75 for the LPN.
- GED/ TASC recipients must provide a transcript with a minimum score of 2400 to begin the application process.
- Copy of GED certificate with test score with a minimum of 145 for LPN or receive 165 per test for RN.
- All College transcripts that are within 5-20 years will be used for GPA purposes only and not transfer credits.
- AMG’s LPN graduates with a GPA of 2.50 and not more than 5 years are exempt from the TEAS test.
- Students testing out from the Fundamentals Knowledge base test will be required to successfully pass with 80 or better. This will be a one-time opportunity.
- AMG’s Graduate within 3 years and earned a B or better on the Fundamentals of Nursing course will be exempt from the knowledge-based test.
- The ATI Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) score for LPN applicants is 55% and for RN applicants is 62%.
All applicants are required to take the TEAS Test
